Hawaii News
It's an overstatement to say that Hawaii is a synonymous with paradise? No! Just look at the lush natural beauty with incredible combination of stunning beaches, tropical forests, active volcanoes, majestic waterfalls and unique flora and fauna. In addition, it has a rich Polynesian culture, reflected in Hawaiian music, dance and delicious local cuisine. Each island has its own personality and attractions, providing a unique experience. Is considered the birthplace of modern surfing and is a paradise for surfers from all over the world. The archipelago offers some of the most famous, challenging and legendary waves on the planet. Finally, the mythical "Aloha" is much more than a simple greeting in Hawaii. It's a word that expresses love, compassion, joy and welcome. The "aloha" spirit is fundamental to Hawaiian culture, representing not just a greeting, but a feeling of connection, harmony and mutual respect. It is a warm expression of welcome and friendship that reflects the essence of Hawaiian culture.

Canada News
Banff National Park is one of the most iconic and stunning destinations in the Canadian Rockies. Located in the province of Alberta, it is Canada's oldest national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, one of the main attractions is the Icefields Parkway, one of the most stunning and panoramic roads in the world, stretching for around 230 kilometers through the Canadian Rockies, connecting Jasper and Lake Louise, passing through several points of interest, including Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. This road offers incredible scenery along the way, with spectacular views of majestic mountains, sparkling lakes, snow-capped peaks and impressive glaciers. Along the route we pass most of the points of interest in both parks, where you can enjoy spectacular views from strategic viewpoints, take photographs and often spot local wildlife, such as bears, moose and mountain goats. It's a journey that offers unforgettable experiences amidst one of Canada's most spectacular landscapes, making it a must-see destination for nature enthusiasts, photographers and travelers who want to explore the wild beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Rocky Mountains News
Welcome to the American West, where the great green plains collide with the dramatic Rockies, one of the most beautiful mountain ranges on the planet. The Rocky Mountains are much more than just a collection of mountains, they represent much of the history, nature and culture that has shaped the landscape and identity of North America. Its grand landscapes have influenced and continue to inspire and attract travelers from all over the world. It is along this imposing mountain range that stretches for more than 4800km from Mexico to Canada, that we can find mythical places from anyone's imagination, such as Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower, cowboy towns like Deadwood and some of the more iconic National Parks like Grand Teton or Yellowstone. With a variety of peaks, valleys, rivers and lakes, the Rocky Mountains offer a picturesque setting that attracts enthusiasts of outdoor activities such as mountaineering, hiking, skiing and climbing. The mountain range is also home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including bears, elk, eagles and many other species.

Los Angeles News
With a Mediterranean climate, on the edge of the Pacific, LA embodies the best showcase of Southern California's airy lifestyle, with its palm-fringed streets, beaches as far as the eye can see and urban parks set in mountains. Founded by Spaniards in the 18th century, the Latin vein still continues to throb in Los Angeles, permeated by cultural influences that come from all over the globe. In my opinion, apart from some 'must-see' spots in Downtown, the best of LA is in the areas around it, such as Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Malibu, among others, which together form the great LA. Although the studios have migrated to other parts, the cinema circus remains armed in Hollywood, where the Walk of Fame and Dolby Theatre are located. Not far from there, the Sunset Boulevard brings together concert venues where bands like The Doors and Led Zeppelin left their mark. Beverly Hills, for its part, is the address of millionaires and celebrities, while Venice Beach and Santa Monica are the best places to enjoy a healthy (and hipster) lifestyle with the Pacific breeze. A tip: set aside two late afternoons, one to watch the night fall over LA from the Griffith Observatory and the other at the mythical Santa Monica Pier. In the latter, I recommend parking your car in Venice Beach and coming to Santa Monica on foot, absorbing all the Californian lifstyle. In Santa Monica, despite all the “attractions”, my favorite part is simply watching the sunset from the pier. The huge strip of sand completes the scene, the ferris wheel is wonderful at dusk and when the lights go on, everything is even more splendorous.

Las Vegas News
An oasis in the desert, Vegas' view from the hill is hypnotic. Las Vegas is the city in the middle of the desert, where there are pyramids but no camels. In fact, the rise of the “city of sin” is meteoric. Less than 100 years ago, there was nothing at all. A drive along the Strip is a great way to get started and get around the city. As there is so much to see, the chaotic traffic on the Strip doesn't even get boring and allows you to see everything in the calm. Quickly you realize that you are entering an amusement park built in the shape of a city. A parallel universe where the Eiffel Tower is one block from the Manhattan skyline, two from the gondolas of Piazza San Marco in Venice and three from the Sphinx of Giza, all with a volcano in the middle. The visit to the casinos is a classic, but there are so many other attractions on display (shows, shopping malls, tours, restaurants), that you can spend a whole week in Las Vegas without even getting close to a slot machine.

Menorca News
The most charming and quiet of the Balearics, and I can safely say that I know them all. With a coastline cut by wild cliffs, idyllic beaches, coves populated by sailboats, prehistoric monuments, two charming cities and an infinite number of rural roads and footpaths to explore calmly. And, of course, it's time now to speak of the calas: In the south coast in the first place, because they are the closest to the image of distant paradises. They aren't large stretches of sand, rather small coves sheltered by cliffs where the shade of the pine trees is the umbrella. With warm, clear and calm waters, they are sheltered at the bottom of long dirt paths. The reward is an untouched scenario that, if we arrive early, we can imagine having just discovered. On the north coast, they are even more isolated, ideal for escaping the crowds even in the peak of summer, protected by dune cords with golden sands. At the summer solstice, Ciutadella celebrates the Fiestas of Sant Joan. The stately city of palaces is transformed when skilful riders and beautiful horses, festooned for the occasion, take to the streets to become the stars of a celebration that deserves to be experienced at least once in a lifetime.

Kuala Lumpur News
The capital of Malaysia is a cosmopolitan metropolis, a kind of tropical New York, with skyscrapers, green parks, knowledge centers, spaces dedicated to wildlife, museums and a diversity of cultural attractions, mega shopping malls along traditional Indian, Muslim and Chinese corners. Kuala Lumpur is without a doubt one of the most multicultural cities I have ever visited. And it's this mix, this mishmash of traditions, cultures, colors and smells that makes it worth visiting. In addition to all the spots that appear on the city guides, I recommend a late afternoon drink at Heli Lounge Bar, In their own words, the “KL's best kept secret”. There, at least one of the best views of the city I guarantee you have!

Grand Canyon News
One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, is a bucket list destination for visitors from all over the world - and it isn't hard to find out why. Arizona's national park offers breathtaking views, spectacular wildlife and striking hikes. The most daring ones take just one day to make a detour to the Grand Canyon, in our case we made a detour from Route 66 in Flagstaff. The ideal minimum is to stay for two nights, either inside the park or nearby. Anyone who enjoys outdoor activities will find fun for more days, easy. Choose to visit the park in the spring and autumn months, thus avoiding the crowds of the high season. Plan your day to be at the end of the afternoon at Horseshoe Bend. For me, watching the sunset there was undoubtedly the best memory of that day.

Route 66 News
The Route 66 is more than a road: it is a state of mind. "The Mother Road" because it's one of the original federal roads and because it crosses much of the country. A wonderful and magical trip you will never forget. Almost 4000 exciting kilometers where you will cross fascinating, original and authentic places. The charm of this trip is that you will also find fascinating people. Some who make the same journey as you and others who try to maintain the original spirit of Route 66, either with its stores or with its simple testimony. More than this or that attraction, on Route 66 the path is the destination. So stop at restaurants that retain the 50's decor, photograph road signs and old traffic signs, take the opportunity to see a movie in a classic drive-in and pull over whenever you notice something curious. Much of the appeal of a road trip is the feeling of freedom that is automatically suggested in our imagination. As such, don't feel obliged to travel Route 66 from side to side without looking to the side. Changing direction and heading to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon or Monument Valley is highly recommended. Once in a lifetime “Get your kicks on Route 66” :)

Aveiro
It's due the estuary and its canals, which enter the city of Aveiro, that many call it the Venice of Portugal. However Aveiro has unique things that distinguish it from any other city in the world: the gastronomy, the people and the traditions. The best way to get to know the city and a little of its history is to take the traditional moliceiro tours. This tour is indispensable in any itinerary! Another ex-libris are the Ovos Moles, they are the main sweet typical of the city of Aveiro. Other points to visit are Torreira and Costa nova, where there are plenty of good restaurants to eat the best fresh fish. Finally, be sure to visit the Vista Alegre century-old porcelain factory in Ílhavo.

24H of Le Mans News
One of the biggest world events in sport, the mythical 24 Hours of Le Mans. The traditional French race makes up the triple crown of motorsport, alongside the Monaco GP and the Indianapolis 500. Winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans is making sure that your name will be marked in the history of motorsports. Any motorsport lover should go to Le Mans during the 24H week at least once in life, but when you go once you can never let go. The program starts exactly one week before with scrutineering at the city center. From then on, the festivities begin with more than 250 thousand people on and off the circuit, where even the campsites are worth a visit. Throughout the week there are events taking place, some officials others not so much: the visit to the padock, the drivers parade, the british welcome, the qualification, the legends race, etc. Even the small stores within the circuit are a doom for our wallet. During the rest day you have Paris at 200km or the wonderful Normandy at same distance. Plan your trip a year in advance, or you will have a hard time even finding a place in the campsite.

Singapore News
Known as 'The Pearl of Asia', Singapore is one of the largest global financial centers. At the same time, the city-state is also one of the most expensive places to live. Singapore is like a stranger in the nest in Southeast Asia. Forget the chaotic traffic, poverty and disorganization of the neighbors. One of the most modern nations on the continent, this Asian tiger is high-tech by nature. Its streets are clean and organized, the transportation system ultra-efficient, shopping centers are spread around every corner and its buildings leave nothing to be desired for those in cities like New York or Tokyo. The city is halfway between Malaysia and Indonesia and Singapore International Airport is one of the main hubs in the region. So why not take the opportunity to visit one of the most modern, clean and efficient cities in the world?

Algarve News
The sunny beaches of the Algarve, with sands as far as losing sight, limited by golden cliffs, almost deserted islands that mark the border between the Ria Formosa and the sea, or small bays, snuggled by the rocks. The ocean in all shades of blue, almost always calm and warm, invites you to long baths and to practice water sports. There is also the mountain. Where people live in harmony with nature and maintain traditions that they like to share. And the cities. Silves preserves traces of the Arab past and Lagos from the Age of Discovery. More cosmopolitan, Portimão and Albufeira live day and night full of animation. Faro is the gateway to the region and Tavira is the most picturesque and my favorite. To relax, many internationally awarded golf courses and hotels, villages, resorts, from the simplest to the most sophisticated. A varied panoply that has in common a genuine taste of hospitality. At the table there are fresh fish and seafood, grilled or in cataplanas. But don’t forget to taste the mythical Frango da Guia.

Lisbon News
Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world, a different capital, with contrasts. Feel Lisbon and the sound of the old yellow trams that go up and down the streets. Walk the alleys and drink a wine to the sound of fado in various places in the city. Admire the authentic treasures of historic buildings, the high places overlooking the Tagus River. But for me, in addition to the charm that Lisbon has during the day, the city is synonymous with bohemian life. Cheap booze and the absence of open-container laws means Lisbon loves a night on the town! Don’t be fooled by Bairro Alto’s sleepy daytime feel. By night, these narrow cobbled lanes transform into one of Europe’s most raucous drinking locales. Student partys, traditional fado houses, upscale wine bars and LGBT hot spots merrily coexist among the muddled mess. In Cais do Sodré, Pink Street and environs are home to some of the city’s classic nightclubs and rowdiest cocktail bars, while trendier megaclubs stretch along the waterfront from Santos to Santa Apolónia. My recommended? Undoubtedly the Lux Frágil. If your stay is longer, don’t miss a trip to Troia and the beaches of Comporta and another to Cascais and Sintra. I’m deeply happy in Lisbon, I owe an eternal debt of gratitude to this city.

South England News
The England’s beautiful South, an area of unrivalled history, heritage and natural beauty. This journey toked us from the capital city of London to the countryside and the cliffs of the English coastline in Dorset. Along the way you can see opulent manor houses and grandiose castles. Further inland are the rolling plains, ancient monuments such as Stonehenge and beautiful picturesque villages that have been around for thousands of years. Don’t return to London without first stopping at Corfe Castle, for me one of the most attractive places to visit in Dorset. At Corfe Castle also stops the Swanage steam railway, one of Britain’s most popular heritage railways. A must for all railway lovers and not only. For sure a region not to be missed.

Phi Phi Islands News
The six islands that form the smal Phi Phi archipelago offer options for the most diverse types of travelers, whether they are backpackers, adventurers or romantics. Only Koh Phi Phi Don is inhabited. There everything is done on foot and is where the city center is located, with all the bars, restaurants and shops. It’s also the point of arrival for those traveling by ferry from Krabi or Phuket. But it is on Koh Phi Phi Le where the famous Maya Bay is located, where the film “The Beach” was recorded. It’s undoubtedly one of the most charming beaches I have ever been to. The turquoise sea impresses, the surrounding mountains round off the unforgettable landscape. Due of its fame, the beach can get very crowded at certain times of the day. Try to arrange with the boatman to go there early or at the end of the day. Additionally, this album contains some photos taken on the beaches around Krabi. As Krabi is one of the main airports in the region, it’s worth spend there a few days before or on the return from Phi Phi Islands.

Switzerland News
Famed for its mountains and winter sports, Switzerland has immense natural and urban attractions for those who love adventure and discover new places. In fact, is extremely rare to find that varied and intense beauty in such small country. Starting with Zermatt, one of those Switzerland’s clichet destinations and belonging to the dreams of almost every traveler in the world. Known to concentrate all that is most beautiful and typical of Switzerland, there you will find alpine-style houses, delicious chocolates everywhere, snowy mountains and the world-famous Matterhorn in the background, making this incredible setting even more magical. Not to miss a climb to the Gornergrat, it’s one of that breathtaking places that impresses you from the first moment. The climb is made by the mythical cog train and takes about 35 minutes, enough time for the city of Zermatt gradualy dimish and be swallowed by the wonderful chain of the Alps. From above, the views of the Matterhorn are simply amazing. The perfect antidote to this rural beauty are Switzerland’s cities: the picturesque Bern, the cosmopolitan Geneva, the beautiful and old Lucerne, the luxurious Zurich and the artistic city of Basel. They are all in close proximity to each other, so you should include them all in your plan. Despite the high cost of living, you won’t regret every cent you invest in a trip through this fantastic country.

Douro Valley News
A wine region of excellence, the Douro shaped the landscape and people shaped the Douro. From this fantastic interaction between Man and Nature was born one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal and one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. One of the world’s oldest demarcated wine regions, the Douro Valley showcases steep terrace vineyards carved into mountains. For those who don’t know the region, the starting point should be in Vila Nova de Gaia, in the cellars where the Porto Wine ages. Until Barca de Alva, by boat on one of the many cruise options or by the fantastic winding scenic road, I assure you it’s a unique and unforgettable experience. In addition to the incredible landscapes, along the way you will find world-class hotels and restaurants.

Hong Kong News
One of the most vibrant cities in the world, the Riviera of the Orient welcomes with its iconic skyline and colourful traditions. They say that “by comparison, Manhattan looks provincial”. If the subject is skyscrapers I would say that there is no comparison, a trip to Victoria Peak clarifies well. Hong Kong is a city where worth admiring contrasts: wealth and poverty, light and gloom, eastern and western cultures, sea and mountain, upscale malls and street markets. At the same time I was in Hong Kong, Umbrella Revolution started. Peaceful protests, which despite causing some inconvenience, allowed a different experience of the city and greater contact with people. Lastly, don’t miss the Symphony of Lights, every day at 8PM. It’s the world’s largest permanent light and sound show, with dozens of buildings participating. You can see it from the Avenue of Stars or on board a ferry. It’s undoubtedly one of my Hong Kong memories.

Madeira News
A special album, the first one made in my homeland. Excuse my lack of modesty, but is a special country from any point of view. The more I travel the world more I realize it. The Madeira Island is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in Europe, where many thousands of tourists return each year. With an excellent weather all year round, a rich fauna and flora and superb landscapes, there are always reasons to return, no matter how many times you went. One of the best ways to contemplate that landscapes is to take a walk on the levadas - paths that follow along the canals that irrigate the drier areas. The Island is divided into two very distinct parts: The north remains essentially rural, while the south, especially in Funchal and neighboring areas, has been growing providing the best reception conditions to the most demanding tourists. Many of the best hotels on the island are in this area. Finally, Funchal is also known for its nightlife, it can be a last reason for you to visit.

London News
There are a bunch images that are sought after by all who set foot for the first time - or by the thousandth - in London: The red double-decker bus. The Big Ben at dusk. The stylish black cabs. Despite the grandeur of the British capital, any visitor can absorb in one day many of its main points of interest, they are so close to each other that you can go on foot visit them. To see many of them just follow the Thames, along its banks are numerous cultural, historical, artistic and political landmarks to visit. London is a fun mix of traditions and craziness: even today they set the clock listening to Big Ben and at the same time doesn’t dispense its busy pubs and cool clothes stores. Finally, London has one of the best public transport networks in the world. To save a bit during your stay, purchase an Oystercard, which gives discounts for all modes of transports. It’s necessary to pay a small deposit (£ 5), whose fee is returnable.

Angola News
For many, it's only a country in Africa, for me it's one of my two homelands. Country of overwhelming contrasts, with vast natural resources as large reserves of minerals and oil, but also extreme poverty. Angola is only now starting to see tourism as an opportunity, but it still remains a non tourist-friendly country. Perhaps for that reason it preserves its landscapes and the typical african environments completely intact. The photos of this album were taken throughout several years on trips across the country and I venture to say that each one of them has a story to tell.

Monument Valley News
It was these landscapes that helped build the imaginary of the Old West. One of the most iconic regions in the US, where is located the Navajo Nation Reservation. Its red sheer-walled mesas and grand buttes are stars of many Westerns, TV commercials and magazine ads. When you arrive, the view from the Highway US-163 is awesome: an immense space that conveys an incredible sense of freedom. But to really get up close you need to visit the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. There you can drive your car through the scenarios where you used to see cowboys on the screens. With the Grand Canyon only 250km away, it's a good idea to plan a few days in this region, one of the best in the US in my opinion.

Iceland News
Iceland is probably one of the most fascinating countries you can visit in Europe: Land of fantasy, magic, wild, pure, vivid, beautiful and sometimes brutal, a mixture of paradise and hell, reality and fiction. Where the fire meets the ice and the black sands with the green mountains. In few places in the world the weight of geography will be felt so intensely. We visited in September, when winter begins to make a presence in the territory. If on the one hand spoiled us a few days with the bad weather, on the other gave that look of cold and ice to the landscape. From October until May it isn't advisable to visit, because most of the roads are cuted. Don't forget to take a dip on the Blue Lagoon before you return to the airport. The ticket is expensive (like everything else in Iceland), but worth the experience.

Formentera News
When the boat departs from Ibiza, it leaves behind the nights of excesses, the fashion nightclubs and the crowded streets. In about half an hour you arrive at the port of La Savina in Formentera, the smallest inhabited island of the Balearic Islands and, probably, the most special. The island still preserves the same airs of peace and love (with a strong pinch of glamor) from when the Balearic Islands were still a secret kept by the hippies. The warm water beaches with turquoise sea and fine white sand are perfect for lazy days spent lounging on some of Europe's most exquisite beaches.

Machu Picchu News
The iconic Matchu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the world. It was this epic place we choose to be the last point of a long journey through South America, which began in Patagonia. Although it was a very rainy day, nothing can diminish the thrill of being there. It's one of those places that are worth sitting on a rock and simply enjoying. For those who want to visit in the best physical conditions, the ideal is to stay in Aguas Calientes. This way you avoid the fatigue of those who leave Cusco or Ollantaytambo and return the same day. The village is quite chaotic, with buildings swarming, without any planning. The feeling, however, is the best: Aguas Calientes is a lively place full of people sharing the joy of being in the antechamber of Machu Picchu.

Bangkok News
Bangkok is a city of strong emotions. Who visit returns home with the certainty that loved or hated the city, the middle ground is rare. With so much of its daily life conducted on the street, there are few cities in the world that reward exploration as handsomely as Bangkok does. Here, climate-controlled megamalls sit side by side with gold-spired temples and streets lined with food carts are overlooked by luxurious restaurants perched on top of skyscrapers. For adventurous foodies, there's probably no better dining destination in the world. A great half-day trip from Bangkok is the world-famous floating market in Damnoen Saduak, 100km away from the city downtown. Perfect for some photos and eat, the bustling scene is a timeless snapshot of the exotic Thailand.

Chicago News
Welcome to the iconic Windy City. Where gigantic buildings harmonize and make the city a reference in the world of architecture and its streets are packed with works of art. One of the icons of this architecture is the Willis Tower. At the top of the building, at 442 meters high, is located one of the main attractions of Chicago: the Skydeck. For me, is by far the most impressive of its kind around the world. Shopping is also a main attraction of Chicago, wich means a trip into the city's heart. The section of Michigan Avenue known as the Magnificent Mile is taken over by malls and luxury brands. It's worth remembering that this is a region of extreme climates: In summer, the temperature can reach up to 40°C. The freezing winter has heavy snowstorms and the thermometers can approach -20°C. Spring and fall are the best times to visit the most European city of all US.

Cusco News
The undisputed archaeological capital of all America, Cusco is the continent's oldest continuously inhabited city and the gateway to Machu Picchu. It was the main city of the Inca Empire, considered by them as "belly button", is currently the most visited city of Peru for offering an immense architectural, historical and spiritual wealth. It's an erroneously connoted place as for adventurers and backpackers, Cusco holds so many wonders that it becomes a waste to visit it just in passing. The strategic location and good structure allow tourists to visit many other sites in the Cusco and Sacred Valley region, enjoying good hotels and restaurants. Tip: On your trip to Ollantaytambo, prefer a taxi instead of the bus. The price is very low and taxi drivers make many stops along the 80km and take you to places that otherwise would be impossible, but first bargain for a price before you set off.

San Francisco News
For me, one of the most vibrant and beautiful cities in the United States. I can easily imagine living there. City of good times and social revolutions in the past, nowadays if there's a technology to be invented, probably it will happen here. San Francisco has always held a particular draw for lovers of culture and alternative lifestyles, so there are lots of artists and musicians finding ways to keep the creative heart of the San Francisco Bay Area alive. Don't miss a visit to Alcatraz Island and the famous Penitentiary, the crossing of the Golden Gate (by car or on foot), the Battery Spencer view over the bridge, a ride on The San Francisco cable cars, the world's last manually operated cable car system, and of course, the many picturesque viewpoints with its fantastic views throughout the city. Don't forget a coat, many peoople don't realize how cold San Francisco feel, even in summer. For Alcatraz Island make Reservations at least two weeks ahead.

Bolivia News
Bolivia is a country with strong indigenous traditions, that often frighten those who are accustomed to easy tourism from other South American countries. Roads in poor condition, cities with chaotic traffic and a hotel network that often boils down to a small establishment under family management. And if that were not enough, there is still the altitude! Soon on the first day we entered Bolivia we reached 5000m, which caused us dizziness and headache. After the first night to sleep in altitude everything returned to normal. These are some of the obstacles to overcome to get to know this beautiful and unique country. The unique experience of crossing desert areas in the south, arrive and see La Paz from above or visit the Salar de Uyuni (see album) will provide memories of a lifetime.

Macau News
For me, as Portuguese, arriving in Macau after a month alone wandering around Asia was an unforgettable experience. Despite all the obvious differences, getting to Macau and seeing everything written in my mother tongue made me feel at home. Although being an epicentre of gambling and glitz, Macau is marked by a wonderful cultural hybridity that manifests itself in many aspects: Chinese temples stand on maritime-themed Portuguese tiles on streets with Portuguese names or even in the food, you can combine chinese dishes with pasteis de nata. For me, a fan of motorsport, Macau is also a hotspot in all Asia, having undoubtedly the most spectacular city circuit in the world. Hong Kong is about an hour away by ferry or bus via the new bridge. In my opinion, the two territories must be on any Asia bucket list.

Salar de Uyuni News
Definitely one of the most amazing places I've ever been in my life. Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt flat in the world and one of Bolivia's great natural wonders. It has more than 10.000 square kilometers and is located at about 3650 meters of altitude. On the first day, we arrived at sunset, immediately I had the feeling that just being there at that moment was enough to justify the whole trip through South America. We were lucky to find the salar partially flooded, which allowed us to experience the "infinite mirror" and at the same time to cross the immense salt flat. Definitely, a lifetime experience for any traveller.

Chile News
Just like it happened in Argentina, due to several canceled flights, we take 4 days to start our trip in Patagonia. Which turned impossible for us to see everything we planed on the chilean side. During this trip, from the vast southern glacial fields to the driest desert on earth, we passed through parched dunes, fertile valleys, volcanoes, forests, massive glaciers and fjords. But it's for many, including myself, that the Chile's most spectacular scenery is located in the region of San Pedro de Atacama. I have to admit, it stayed on my heart! There's undeniable allure to this desert village with its picturesque adobe streets, laid-back residents and music-filled eateries. In the surrounding area there are also numerous volcanoes, salt lakes and valleys, so if you can I'd recommend at least a three day stay in San Pedro.

Home of fantastic museums, castles, cathedrals, and of course ... pubs! In fact, few cities join history and culture with bohemia like Dublin. As the sun goes down, the personality of the city completely transforms, becoming one of Europe's most welcoming capitals. So, order a Guinness, pull up a bar stool and enjoy a talk with the locals. The environment is quite laid back where the "no worries" is the motto! Don't miss a visit to the Book of Kells at Trinity College, the Guinness Storehouse and of course drink some pints at The Temple Bar. For the first two I strongly advise you to buy the tickets online beforehand.

Normandy News
An album that results from several trips through Europe by car. The last one in June of this year, where we made a detour through Normandy to know the beaches of the D-Day landings. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and it wasn't possible to do everything I had in mind. In addition to the the D-Day spots, from this region of northern France I highlight the villages that seemed to have risen from the pages of Asterix stories and the spectacular and iconic island-monastery of Mont Saint Michel. If you get a chance, book a night in one of the small hotels inside its walls.

Argentina News
A trip that didn't start as planned. Due to several canceled flights, we lost 4 days to reach southern Argentina, what spoiled the whole plan we had to travel through Patagonia. It was still possible to start the trip from the planned starting point, Rio Gallegos, one of the most southerly points in Argentina. From there it was always to head north to the border with Chile in the region of Salta, through this country wich is home to a vast natural wonderland and diversity. From the Los Glaciares National Park to the deserts of the Fiambalá region, from the mega capital of Buenos Aires to the more remote villages like Susques or San António de los Cobres, almost always traveling the mythical Ruta 40. Sometimes risking more than planned, traveling hundreds of kms during the night through deserted roads, without seeing anyone and without a mobile phone network. Excepting flat tire, everything went smoothly!

Italy News
This is that adventure that I was stubbornly postponing for many years to come, when I no longer had the patience for 30+ hours of flights and airports. Fortunately, life hasn't giving me great chances to postpone these projects! In total there were 6438km and 24 days of a roadtrip through this open-air museum which is Italy, from the mythical Passo Dello Stelvio on the border with Switzerland to the ends of Sicily. Starting with the fantastic scenery of the Dolomites at Alto Adige and its first-class ski resorts, the Italian Riviera including Portofino and the Cinque Terre, Tuscany's magnificent countryside, the beautifull beaches in the south, and by the middle crossing all the relevant cities of italy. Lastly a tip: We rented the car in Slovenia, we paid half of what they asked for in Italy, with full insurance. It gave to pay many "coperto's"! :P

Venice News
Beautiful, Romantic and a wonderful trip in the time. Although the tourists outnumber many times the desirable, Venice never loses its capacity to enchant. In addition to seeing all the world famous attractions, enjoy a trip on the Vaporetto #1, that runs along the Grand Canal and makes many stops, so it's a good way to cruise the main canal and get a good overview of the city. Especially in the late afternoon when the sunset gives a special color to the buildings. I also recommend a visit to the beautiful island of Burano, which is about 45min by boat. If you have a car, take the opportunity also to visit Chioggia and Comacchio, they are very much like Venice but without tourists.

Sicily News
In the in the heart of the Mediterranean, it's a island of huge diversity of landscapes and cultural treasures. Since the historic cities like Palermo, Catania and Siracusa, to the crystal-clear waters villages as San Vito lo Capo and Cefalù. The smoking craters of Mount Etna and the almost undiscovered beaches of the southern coast are my favorite landscapes. Put also on your plan a stop in Campofelice di Roccella, where you can find testimonies of the mythical Targa Florio and some properties confiscated from Mafia. To get to Sicily, we crossed the Strait of Messina, between Villa San Giovanni on the mainland and Messina on Sicily. There are at least hourly ferries so don't worry about timetables or waitings.

Rome News
Few cities can rival Rome's History and artistic heritage. Beautiful buildings, ancient ruins, picturesque streets, sculptures and fountains are scattered among world-class attractions as Colosseum, Roman Forum and Pantheon. Furthermore, the streetside cafes and the terraces complement the dolce vita lifestyle experience and help you to refresh on the numerous days that temperatures exceed 40°C. Book at least one day to get to know the smallest sovereign state in the world, the Vatican. Visit the Vatican Museums with the highlight to the Michelangelo-decorated Sistine Chapel and the Basilica di San Pietro, including climbing to the dome. Finally, a tip not only for Rome, but as for all of Italy: You should buy all the tickets in advance online, you probably pay a little more in fees but you'll save a lot of time by avoiding the queues.

Northern Ireland News
A roadtrip from Belfast to Derry made throughout the scenic Causeway Coastal Route. This mitical route is studded with beaches, fishing villages and some of the most famous filming locations of The Game of Thrones. Another interesting thing was to notice the very clear partition of the folks: Catholics vs Protestants, Nationalists vs pro-UK, and more recently the ones for and against brexit. Perhaps for all this, it was probably the country where I felt the greatest differences in treatment: in most cases very friendly but in others we were greeted with a "go back to your country!". These last confined to the more problematic neighbourhoods of Belfast.

Stockholm News
Our last stop on this Scandinavian trip, Stockholm combines a well-preserved historic center with a cosmopolitan and modern way of life. Although the night falls early, there are many restaurants and bars that remain open until late. And even when it looks like everything is closed, there's always a hidden place where you can have another drink. Beyond the beauty on the surface, Stockholm has the most spectacular tube stations I have ever seen. It's worthwhile to buy a ticket and simply wander around the stations, especially out of rush-hour.

Norway News
Country of Vikings and fjords, Norway also has some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Even on a small 3-day roadtrip like ours you can check this out. From Molde you can easily reach points such as the beautiful city of Ålesund, the Geiranger Fjord or the legendary Atlantic Road, just to name a few. Country of friendly people, it's a bit expensive at the same time, but worth all the investment to get to know it. We will certainly return one day for an adventure as this country deserves.

Alsace News
A beautiful and romantic end of the year spent in the Alsace region, between Strasbourg and the well-known fairytale villages of this eastern region of France. For me, as someone who doesn't like messy New Year's Eve events, the choice to spend this time of year in this French region was the right one. The fantastic Christmas Market of Strasbourg, the vineyards of Riquewihr and Niedermorschwihr, the streets of the picturesque Kaysersberg and finally, the romantic Colmar: they are nothing short of idyllic. It's impossible not to be in love with this region and for us it will remain as one of the best New Year's Eve ever.

florida News
A roadtrip across the "Sunshine State", from Florida Keys to Georgia's border, Cape Canaveral to Tampa. As for the Americans, for us it was a getaway of winter, worries and even the reality. Beyond seafood and probably the best sunsets in the world, it's really worthwhile to visit the Keys (specially Key West), Miami of course (see album), Tampa, Saint Petersburg (including The Dali Museum) and finally a trip to Cape Canaveral to visit the Kennedy Space Center. All of this always with the flip-flop's and the towel in the boot of the car for a swim on the beach.

Berlin News
For us it was the beginning of a roadtrip across Florida. Miami is the most latina of all North American cities, where often the "hello!" gives way to "hola!". It offers multiple enticements for everyone: clear water beaches, trendy restaurants and bars, bustling nightlife, modern malls and the beauty of its architecture in the tall and modern buildings of Downtown or in the historic art deco buildings of South Beach.

Berlin News
A great idea for a weekend for those who live in Europe. Berlin is a city full of history and at the same time one of the world's capital of eletronic music and raves, perfect for those who love the nightlife. There's always something going on! Berlin is also a big multicultural metropolis where freedom is the motto. It's the ideal city for a romantic getaway or a trip with friends simply to have some fun. Recommended!

New Zealand News
One of the trips of my life. A 5663km roadtrip from the northernmost point (Cap Reinga) to the southernmost point (Slope Point) of this wonderful country. And we still have to count many more on foot, by boat, plane, cable car, taxi, uber, etc, etc... But more than the distance were the adventures and memories of a trip lived intensely, with few nights sleeping more than 5 hours. Before departure, expectations about NZ were the highest, virtually impossible to beat. However, the pictures that seemed photoshopped really exist! The unique landscapes and the contrast between spectacular beaches, tropical forests and glaciers above 3000m is mind-blowing... always wearing shorts!

Hiroshima News
My last stop in Japan. I arrived on a rainy night with no one on the streets. Perhaps that's why the feeling of sadness and loss was incredibly strong at the Peace Memorial. It´s impossible not to feel sad in that place. Ironically, I ended up that night drinking sake with two brazilian travelers and three japanese girls. On the next day we discover together Hiroshima and went to Miyajima, a magical place, a must-see for anyone visiting this area of Japan.

Osaka News
Osaka is the city where you can feel true Japan. With far fewer tourists than Tokyo, it combines the typical restaurants and shopps at Dotonbori with the best views you can get all over Japan from many of its skyscrapers. You also can also stay in Osaka and travel to Kyoto daily, it's a 15-minute trip in the Shinkansen and this way you can see the world famous Osaka Station Water Clock (see video).

Kyoto News
Kyoto was the capital of Japan for centuries and has the reputation of being its most beautiful city. I was only one day in Kyoto and despite being a small town, it takes much longer to see everything this paradise has to offer: atmospheric temples, beautifull gardens, traditional teahouses, geishas and old neighborhoods. In Kyoto you can see the best known postcards of Japan live.

Tokyo News
The world's most populous metropolitan area with 38 million people, is also the world's largest urban economy." I add: the safest big city in the world. Like all over Japan, you feel safe anytime, anywhere, but here is much more impressive considering the size of the city. Not only security pravails, but also respect, order and kindness. Everyone in Japan smiles at you and is willing to help with whatever you need. Even if this means closing their business to take you somewhere, when you simply ask how to get there. This timelapse I made at Shibuya Crossing is a good example of this atmosphere: (see video).

Ayers Rock News
The mythic Uluru! In fact there isn't much more to see in a radius of hundreds of kilometers, but watching a sunset in Uluru or sunrise at Kata Tjuta it's a lifetime experience. As soon as the sun goes down, this area is also amazing for astronomy enthusiasts, allowing conditions of total darkness. I stayed late in the night with a group of astronomers and it was an amazing experience to see the Milky Way, constellations and the International Space Station fly by. For all of this, if you go to Australia it is mandatory to visit Ayers Rock. Don't forget to take a mosquito head net to protect you from the flies or you won't rest for even a second!

Sydney News
Sydney is one of those cities where I could live without any problems. Good weather, excellent atmosphere and a great lifestyle, combining a cosmopolitan city with the surf culture of its world famous beaches. Someone told me that Sydney is a combination of Rio de Janeiro with London and I couldn't agree more. In addition to the traditional walk through the botanic garden, the iconic Opera House and harbor shore, I recommend watching the sunset from Kirribilli and see the city lighting up. Another must-see are the beaches, the best known are Bondi and Manly. To me Bondi is special: a huge beach, good restaurants and bars where you can drink something, day and night. On the way to Manly, I recommend you to take the ferryboat: the scenary of Sydney Harbor is amazing, especially when you return by the end of the day.

Melbourne News
After more than two weeks in Japan, I flew directly from Tokyo to Melbourne. After being used to japanese reality, I felt a bit strange with Melbourne's 42ºC as well as with the amount of beggars. But it was the first impression, I quickly realized that it's a very important city regarding culture and with its own architecture. While walking around the city you see cool cafes, good restaurants and unusual shops. You mustn't also miss the graffiti lanes, the end of the day at Eureka Skydeck 88 and drinking a beer at the bars on the Yarra river bank.
